both in yellow tooth and tetracycline stained tooth. After treatment,thesubjectswith yellow tooth exhibited an overallmean 6. 32-shade improvement from baseline and the effectiverate was 100%. The subjectswith tetracycline stained tooth exhibited an overallmean 5. 37shade improvementfrom baseline and the effective ratewas98. 5%. Although high shade improvementwasgot in heavy tetracyclinestained tooth,the real colorwere not satisfactory to patients and doctors. Tooth sensitivity occurred in 84. 6%subjects during treatmentand 10. 5% were accompaniedwith eroded gum. Afterbleaching,about89. 2% sub-jects complained of tooth sensitivity and about13. 8% patients ofdentalpulp stimulation. Tooth hypersensitivitypersisted about24-72 h,then quitted.Conclusion Beyond cold lightwhiting kit is effective to yellow teeth,slightandmoderate tetracycline stained tooth. The kithas lightstimulation to dentin and dentalpulp,and toothhypersensitivity is transient and recoverable.

因先天和/或后天因素导致的牙齿染色严重影响了患者的美观。对着色活髓牙漂白的方法主要分为两类:家庭漂白术即夜间漂白技术(night-guard vitalbleaching)和诊所漂白术(dentist-administered leach-ing)。这两种方法均是利用过氧化氢或过氧化脲的氧化活性分子,穿过牙釉质到达牙本质后与着色物质发生氧化还原反应,产生无色的化合物,达到美白的效果。后者在医院由牙医进行,因患者依从性好,药物浓度高,作用时间确切,操作时间短等优点而应用广泛。
